1. Disconnect a cable of weight from the storage battery. The battery is in a luggage carrier behind the right lateral facing.

2. Remove the inlet pipeline, address to Section Removal and installation of the inlet pipeline.

3. Turn away a carving stopper (1) at ТНВД. Address to an accompanying illustration.

4. Screw an adapter (1) (BMW-135330) and the indicator (2) instead of a carving stopper and slightly tighten it. Address to an accompanying illustration.

5. Turn the engine clockwise in direction ВМТ of 1st cylinder so that the indicator index for some time has stopped in the bottom point. The rotation beginning should be at least for 60 - 90 to ВМТ. The piston of 1st cylinder is in ВМТ if on the party приводной chains show both cams of 1st cylinder upward. For проворачивания the engine include 5th transfer, release a lay brake and shift the car. Or tighten a brake, establish РКПП in neutral position and turn a pulley of a cranked shaft a head for the central bolt.

6. Establish the indicator on “0”.

7. Turn out a stopper (1) at the block of cylinders. Address to an accompanying illustration.

8. Turn a cranked shaft on 2 turns in an hour hand direction so that оправка BMW-112300 or another approaching оправка (drill) could be inserted through an aperture in the block of cylinders into an aperture in a flywheel.

9. At a new chain the indicator should show a course 0.95 0.02 mm.

10. If value does not correspond demanded, adjust the pump.

11. Ослабьте a bolt (3), without turning on it. Address to an accompanying illustration.

12. Ослабьте nuts (1) and (2).

13. Turn ТНВД so that the indicator has shown demanded value.

14. Tighten nuts and bolts in sequence with 1 to 3 moment of 25 Nanometers.

15. Take out оправку and once again repeat check. Thus a cranked shaft turn only clockwise.

16. Remove the indicator and take out оправку.

17. Insert a stopper into the block of cylinders.

18. Tighten the central stopper with a new sealing ring the moment of 25 Nanometers.

19. Establish a butterdish cover.

20. Establish the inlet pipeline, address to Section Removal and installation of the inlet pipeline.

21. Attach a weight cable to the storage battery. Establish hours. Program radio receiver stations.

22. Start the engine. If necessary remove air from fuel system.

23. Pass on the car and check up tightness of the central bolt. If necessary tighten it.
