BMW 5 series E39

1. Remove a box of the filter of pure air in an impellent compartment behind on the right. It will provide access to the block of safety locks and the relay.

2. Uncover the block of safety locks, having turned away fastening bolts.

3. Disconnect the relay of preliminary heating (1). 2 - the block of management DDE. Address to an accompanying illustration.

4. Check up a safety lock on 80 And near to the connecting tip. If it has failed, replace. Preliminary find out the overload reason. Address to an accompanying illustration.

5. Disconnect a thick positive wire from the relay case.
On an illustration the scheme of joining of the relay of preheat is shown. The similar scheme is available on a relay cover.
G1... G6: candles накаливания 1... 6;
Kl. 15: plus connected by means of the switch of ignition;
Kl. 30: plus of the storage battery;
Ust: operating pressure (from the block of management DME);
Dia: diagnostics connection

6. Attach the storage battery and the device for pressure check to the tip of the plug 15 and to weight. Include ignition. The device light-emitting diode should light up. Otherwise check up giving of pressure from the ignition lock.

7. If the light-emitting diode lights up, check up a wire to candles накаливания. If necessary replace it. If it does not help, replace the preheat relay.

8. Establish into place a cover of the block of management.

9. Close the block. Establish into place the filter of clearing of air of salon.
