At work under the car it should be established on the lift or if the lift is not present, on two or four reliable supports.

At all do not spend works under the car if it has no reliable раскрепления or leans only against one jack. It is life-threatening!

1. It is possible to lift only the empty car on equal and a platform with a firm covering.
2. Wheels of the car which remain опертыми on a platform, follows раскрепить the wedges preventing moving of the car. Do not hope for a lay brake as last can be lowered at carrying out of certain repair work.
3. The car should be fixed so that the support was sideways, from an outer side.

For an exception of damage of the bottom of the car between a support and the car put a rubber or wooden lining.

Point of support and lifting

Points of support for an automobile jack and the lift are rubber blocks on the bottom beam which position is shown by arrows.

The automobile jack is established so that its basis leant all surface, and the jack head at its rotation could pass in rectangular deepening of a beam.

Rotating the jack handle, tear off the car from a platform. Bring support under the car.

Towage

Demountable towing eyes are located in the complete set of the onboard tool and before towage should be wrapped in corresponding elements of forward and back bumpers.

Forward towing eye

Open a carving aperture. For this purpose press a cover having a symbol in the form of an arrow. The cover is on a forward bumper on the right side.

Back towing eye

Open a carving aperture. For this purpose press a cover having a symbol in the form of an arrow. The cover is on a back bumper on the right side.

 TOWAGE RULES

1. Include ignition to exclude steering wheel blocking. It will ensure functioning of stoplights and the sound alarm system, and also work of screen wipers.
2. The gear change lever establish in neutral position. At cars with automatic transmission the selector establish in position “N”.
3. On the towed and towing car include the alarm system.
4. As the brake and steering amplifier operate only at the working engine, the pedal of a brake and a steering wheel demand considerable efforts!
5. Application of a towing bar Is recommended. At application of a towing cable there is a danger of arrival of one car on another. The towing cable should be elastic enough to protect from dynamic pushes towing and towed cars. It is recommended to apply a towing cable to this purpose from plastic fibres or a cable with intermediate elastic elements.

Cars with automatic transmission

Position of the selector of switching: “N”
The maximum speed of towage: 70 km/hour!
The maximum distance of towage: 150 km!

At damaged АТ: For towage with higher speed and on longer distances it is necessary to lift приводные wheels. The reason consists in the following. At the idle engine pump AT that does not provide some necessary greasing does not work.

At conveyor application: the Car can be towed only with lifted приводными wheels.

Start of the engine by means of towage

Start of the engine of the car with АТ by means of towage is impossible.

The car can be started only at the cold engine, since. Otherwise it is possible to damage каталитический the converter.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Include ignition.
2. Give gas.
3. Include 3rd transfer, press on a pedal of coupling and keep it.
4. Begin towage or push the car.
5. Slowly include coupling.
