Removal and installation of the back shock-absorber

Back amortisation rack

Procedures of removal of the shock-absorber and screw spring are resulted in the end of Section.

At cars with air shock-absorbers take out a safety lock of №6 devices of supply by air. Thus, casual adjustment of system is excluded.


1. Remove a shelf for a headdress, address to Section Removal and shelf installation under a headdress.
2. Turn away two bolts of fastening of a loudspeaker and remove it. Расстыкуйте штекерное connection also take out a loudspeaker.
3. Mark with a paint position of forward wheels in relation to a nave. Thanks to it отбалансированное the wheel will occupy the former position. Ослабьте bolts of fastening of a wheel on the standing car. Lift and establish the car on supports. Remove forward wheels.
4. Remove facing of a wheel casing.

5. Lift a rug near to the device of an automatic tension of a seat belt. Uncover the top part of an amortisation rack and turn away three bolts of fastening.

6. At cars with EDC расстыкуйте штекерное connection.
7. Bring under a wheel arm a garage jack. Lay a wooden lining.

If it not to observe, the amortisation rack after striking off falls downwards. The axis and a brake hose can be thus damaged.

8. Disconnect an amortisation rack at a wheel arm.

9. Lower a few arm and take out an amortisation rack.

Watch that the brake hose has not appeared will pull.

The shock-absorber store only vertically. Otherwise at car movement there can be extraneous noise. A way of elimination: Extend a rod and leave the shock-absorber vertically at premise temperature (+20С) within 24 hours.


1. Check up the shock-absorber, address to Section chain Breakers (thermal relays).
2. Insert an amortisation rack and slightly fix from above a new self-stopped nut.
3. Insert the plug (1) bottom fastenings of the shock-absorber into a wheel arm. Screw a bolt, without tightening it.
4. Fix an amortisation rack above the moment of 20 Nanometers.
5. Clean a garage jack and lower the car on wheels.
6. Establish into place facing of a wheel casing.
7. Fix forward wheels. Bolts of fastening of wheels with oil do not grease. Establish wheels so that the marks put earlier have coincided. Lower the car on wheels. Tighten bolts of fastening of a wheel cross-wise the moment of 100 Nanometers.
8. Establish the car in normal position, i.e. According to the recommendations resulted in Section Check of lamps накаливания.
9. Clamp the bottom bolt of fastening of the shock-absorber the moment offered by Specifications.
10. Connect electric wires at cars with EDC.
11. Put on a protective cover.
12. Establish a loudspeaker. Join штекерное connection and fix a loudspeaker.
13. Establish a shelf for headdresses, address to Section Removal and shelf installation under a headdress.
