Check and replacement of the gauge of impulses
The block of management DME receives the information on number of turns of the engine from the pulse gauge which is at a gear wreath behind a pulley клинового of a belt of a cranked shaft. The second gauge at a head of cylinders is the gauge of recognition of the cylinder.

1. For check disconnect the corresponding tip at a cable plait. If necessary preliminary remove the inlet pipeline, since. To reach tips difficultly.
2. Measure by an ohmmeter resistance on contacts of tips of the corresponding gauge. If necessary replace.
Demanded value at temperature + 20С:
The pulse gauge of a cranked shaft: 1.3 clod.
The gauge of recognition of the cylinder: between contact 1 2: макс. 1 Ohm; between contact 2 and 3: more than 10 мОм. |

Removal of the pulse gauge of a cranked shaft
|
| 1. Disconnect the tip of the pulse gauge. |
2. Disconnect маслопровод at the block of management VANOS and close a pure stopper. |
|
3. Disconnect a load-lifting eye of the engine. Pay attention to a cable (1) for the subsequent correct assemblage. |
|
4. Take out a cable of the gauge from the directing. For this purpose disconnect mine of a cable at clips and remove. |
|
5. Turn away a bolt at an asterisk of a cranked shaft and take out the gauge with a cover. |
|
|
|
1. Insert the gauge and slightly tighten a bolt the moment of 5 Nanometers.
2. Check up щупом distance of the gauge from an asterisk. Demanded value: 0.7 - 1.3 mm.
3. Lay a connecting cable in directing that the wire did not rub about клиновой a belt. Join штекерное connection.
4. Fix a load-lifting eye of the engine.
5. Fix маслопровод with new sealing rings at block VANOS. |

Removal of the gauge of recognition of the cylinder
|
|
1. Uncover the engine, address to Section Removal and installation of the coil of ignition. |
2. It is difficult to reach the gauge. Therefore at first расстыкуйте штекерное connection at the electromagnetic valve of block VANOS also disconnect the valve. Address to an accompanying illustration. |

3. Disconnect маслопровод at block VANOS and close an aperture a pure stopper, sm иллюстр. 4.4. |
|
4. Turn away a bolt of fastening of the gauge and remove the gauge. Address to an accompanying illustration. |
|
5. Расстыкуйте штекерное gauge connection. |
|
|
1. Insert the gauge. Pay attention to position of rubber consolidation of the gauge. If necessary replace it.
2. Fix the gauge the moment of 5 Nanometers.
3. Lay and join a gauge cable.
4. Fix маслопровод with new sealing rings and fix its moment of 30 Nanometers to block VANOS.
5. Screw the electromagnetic valve the moment of 30 Nanometers in block VANOS. The damaged lining replace with the new. Join штекерное valve connection.
6. Establish the top cover of the engine, address to Section Removal and installation of the coil of ignition. |
