Removal and installation of injectors

New injectors are processed by preservative. Through 5 mines of work they are cleared by fuel. It is not necessary to store long time injectors not used, since. They rust.

 REMOVAL

1. Uncover a butterdish. Small covers (arrows on an accompanying illustration) remove a screw-driver and turn away bolts being under them. Remove two plastic facings.

2. Расстыкуйте штекерные connections of gauges of oxygen. Disconnect the tip of electromagnetic valve VANOS. Address to an accompanying illustration.

3. Remove a plug lath of injectors and take her aside.

There is a danger of occurrence of a fire. Do not smoke. The fuel system is under pressure. Collect the flowed out fuel a rag.

4. Disconnect at first a hose of giving of fuel (1), then return (2) from a fuel distributive highway. Address to an accompanying illustration. For this purpose open collars. At assemblage collars are replaced with the new.

At some models the giving hose is attached directly to a distributive highway. In this case at assemblage the sealing ring is replaced with the new.

5. In some executions fuel hoses fasten clips. In this case special tool BMW is necessary for removal of clips 16 1 050 or similar. Before installation check up a sealing ring. In the presence of damages replace it. Address to an accompanying illustration.

6. Turn out fastening bolts (arrows on an accompanying illustration) a fuel distributive highway.

7. Disconnect a vacuum hose (1) at a pressure regulator. (2 - fuel joining, 3 - a fastening point). Address to an accompanying illustration.

8. Remove a distributive highway of fuel complete with injectors upwards from a head of cylinders. Injectors are only inserted and can be taken freely out.

9. Remove stoppers (4) sideways and remove injectors.

 INSTALLATION

1. Insert injectors into a distributive highway and fix from скобами.

2. Grease sealing rings (1) vaseline or oil for transmission SAE 90. Address to an accompanying illustration.
3. In regular intervals insert injectors with a distributive highway into a head of cylinders.

At installation of injectors watch to damaging sealing rings (1). The damaged rings replace. Thus watch position of a ring (2). Sealing rings before installation grease with vaseline or oil for transmissions.

4. Fix a distributive highway two bolts on a head of cylinders
5. Put on hoses of giving and fuel return a distributive highway. Fix new collars, address to subsection "Removal".
6. Join штекерные connections of gauges of oxygen and electromagnetic valve VANOS.
7. Fix a plug lath of injectors.
8. Fix two covers of the engine. Screw covers on butterdishes.
9. Cчитайте the given memories of malfunctions of block DME. After elimination of malfunctions clear memory.
