BMW 5 series E39

1. Remove клиновой a belt (1) and the generator (2).

2. Turn away three screws of fastening (6) and remove a protective cover (5).

3. Turn away two screws of fastening (4) and cautiously take out a regulator of pressure (3) from a generator underside.

4. Replace brushes (2) if their length makes 5 mm or less. For this purpose отпаяйте ropes. Address to an accompanying illustration.

5. Check up deterioration of contact rings, if necessary slightly pierce them.

6. Clear contact surfaces and check up rigidity of springs, if necessary replace springs.

1. Insert in щеткодержатель () brushes () and springs () and solder them. Address to an accompanying illustration.

2. For an exception of hit of solder in a rope at a ration of brushes press a rope flat-nose pliers.

3. The insulating hose over a rope near to a soldering place should be compressed with an eye.

4. After installation check up brushes on ease of moving in щеткодержателе.

5. A pressure regulator clamp one screw by hand. Then cautiously establish it into position and definitively fix.

7. Put on a cover at the generator and fix it.

8. Establish the generator.

1. Remove the generator.
2. Turn away three screws of fastening of a protective cover and remove it.
3. Turn away two screws of fastening and one nut and take out the generator.

1. Establish a new regulator of pressure with an assembly cover and slightly fix screws.
2. Remove upwards an assembly cover.
3. Put on an applied cover and fix it. Screws M4 fasten the moment of 2 Nanometers, screws M5 the moment of 4 Nanometers.
4. Fix screws a protective cover.
5. Establish the generator.
