Removal and installation of a brake disk of back wheels

REMOVAL

1. Remove a support of a back brake. Do not disconnect a brake hose. Otherwise after installation it is necessary to remove air from brake system.
2. Suspend a support on a wire to a suspension bracket. Watch that the brake hose was not overwound. 3. Turn out a bolt of fastening (arrow) a face key of 5 mm.
4. Completely release a lay brake. 5. Remove a brake disk. If the disk does not act in film, take away back колодки a lay brake, address to Section Removal and installation brake колодок a lay brake.

Installation

For maintenance of uniform braking from both wheels both brake disks should have a surface with an identical roughness. Therefore it is necessary to replace or pierce necessarily both disks simultaneously.
In repair trucks the brake disk can be checked up on palpation. As much as possible admissible palpation makes 0.2 mm (the established disk means).

INSTALLATION

1. Measure a thickness of a brake disk, address to Section Measurement of a thickness of a brake disk.
2. Clear new brake disks a nitrothinner.
3. Establish a brake disk on a nave of a back wheel and fix a face key. Preliminary turn a disk that apertures under bolts have coincided.
4. Establish a support with brake колодками. Thus watch that the hose was not overwound. Fix a support, address to Section Removal and installation of back brake supports.

If the brake hose acted in film, fix it and remove their systems air, address to Section Removal of air from brake system.

5. Adjust a lay brake, address to Section Adjustment of a lay brake.
6. Establish and fix back wheels. Do not oil fastening bolts. Wheels establish so that the marks put at removal have coincided. Lower the car on wheels, tighten fastening bolts cross-wise the moment of 100 Nanometers.

Some times strongly press a brake pedal so that resistance was felt. Thus brake колодки will nestle on a disk and will occupy the working position.

7. Check up level of a brake liquid in the tank. If necessary add it to mark MAX.
Attention, check up reliability:
   a) whether brake hoses Are fixed?
   b) whether the brake hose in the holder Is fixed?
   c) whether Will tighten the union of removal of air?
   d) whether Enough a brake liquid in the tank?
   e) On the working engine check up tightness of system. For this purpose press a pedal of a brake effort 200 - 300 Н (20 - 30 kg) and hold it during 10 with. The effort of pressure of a pedal of a brake to a foot should not weaken.
   f) Check up all connections on tightness.

New brake disks should be earned cautiously extra in three stages.
Stage of 1: 5 strong braking since speed of 50 km/hour on road without transport.
Stage 2: allow to a brake to be cooled.
Stage of 3: 5 braking for the speed of 50 km/hour.
