Removal and installation of valves
All models
| | If elements of the mechanism of distribution are used again, they are necessary for establishing on former places. For an exception of an error of a detail it is necessary to store in appropriate way. |
|
| 1. Remove a head of cylinders, address to Sections Removal and installation of the inlet pipeline and Removal and installation of a head of cylinders.
2. Remove a camshaft, address to Section Removal and camshaft installation. |
3. Press a plate of the valve and remove crackers. For compression клапанных springs it is possible to take advantage of the standard adaptation. Address to an accompanying illustration. |

4. Unclench a spring and remove a plate from above, a spring and a plate from below. |
5. Special pincers remove маслоотражательный a cap. It is possible to apply the tool to this purpose 791-5 or a stripper 791-2 HAZET. On an illustration tool BMW is shown. Address to an accompanying illustration. |

6. Take out the valve from a head of cylinders from outside combustion chambers.
7. Remove the following valve. |

Installation
Before installation of valves check up the directing. If necessary grind in saddles of valves, address to Section Processing of saddles of valves in a head of cylinders/grindings in of valves.

Sequence of installation:
1 - the valve,
2 - маслоотражательный a cap,
3 - a bottom plate,
4 - a spring of the valve,
5 - a top plate,
6 - crackers. |

| 1. Remove sharp edges on an adjoining surface of crackers. |
2. Slightly grease a core of the valve and directing with impellent oil and insert the valve.
3. Slightly oil маслоотражательный a cap (1) and insert it by means of corresponding оправки against the stop. Address to an accompanying illustration. |

| | For an exception of damages маслоотражательных caps before cap installation put the assembly plug (2) (BMW 11 1 960) over a valve core. If the plug is not present, close a core a sticky tape on surfaces прилегания crackers. After installation of a cap a tape remove. |
|
4. Establish the bottom plate, then a spring. The damaged elements replace.
5. Establish the top plate.
6. Compress a spring the adaptation and insert crackers. Slowly unclench a spring, watching position of crackers.
7. Establish the following valve. Do not mix inlet and final valves.
8. Establish a head of cylinders, address to Sections Removal and installation of the inlet pipeline and Removal and installation of a head of cylinders. |
