Lay brake

Brake tightening

The lever is fixed independently. If the ignition key is in position 2 on an instrument guard the control lamp with a symbol “Р” (address to Section Controls and devices) will burn thus.

Otpuskanie brakes

Pull the lever a little upwards, press the button and lower the lever downwards.

The lay brake is intended only for deduction of the motionless car from spontaneous movement and operates on back wheels.

If as an exception it is necessary to take advantage of a lay brake during movement do not tighten it with the big force. Thus it is necessary to hold constantly pressed the button on the lever.

The sharp tightening of a lay brake can lead to blocking of back wheels and car drift.

At a tightening of a lay brake stoplights do not light up.

Cars with РКПП: at a parking on roads with a strong bias tighten a lay brake as inclusion of the first transfer or backing transfer under certain circumstances appears insufficient to prevent spontaneous трогание the car from a place. Cars with АТ: translate lever AT in River position

In order to avoid corrosion formation at lifting on small speed to a traffic light from time to time slightly tighten the lever of a lay brake if, certainly, it is supposed by a road and transport situation.
