Work with electric schemes

For possibility of definition of malfunction or additional installation of electric devices presence of electric schemes is necessary. The electric chain should be necessarily closed. Insufficiently, for example, if pressure, and other plug is brought to the positive plug (+) headlights (-) is not closed on weight.

Therefore the cable of weight of the storage battery (-) is connected to weight. In some cases it appears such communication with weight insufficiently and the corresponding consumer has a direct connection with weight. Isolation of such communication has, as a rule, brown colour. Separate electric chains can have switches, the relay, safety locks, measuring devices, electric motors and other electric elements. That the specified elements correctly to attach, connecting cables have various colours, and contacts have numbering.

For convenience of work with a car electric equipment all system is divided into separate chains. The electric elements co-operating with each other, are shown on the general scheme.

As a rule, at the top of the scheme positive contacts (+), and below weight contacts are resulted (-). Weight connections are carried out usually through a body or through an additional wire from a point of the weight which are available on a body.

The image of electric elements on the scheme is executed not in scale. For example, the cable in length on the scheme has of 1 m length only in some centimetres.

Designations of the major plugs:

The plug 15. Receives a food from the ignition lock. A food moves only at the included ignition. Cables have black colour or black with colour strips.
The plug 30. On this plug pressure of the storage battery constantly moves. Cables in the majority a case have red colour or red with strips.
The plug 31. Conducts to weight. Weight wires have, as a rule, brown colour.
On electric schemes all consumers and switches are represented in a starting position. More low electric current movement speaks an example of the two-level switch at realisation of switchings in the switch.

If on the switch the first step is pressed, the electric current flows from the plug 82 to the plug 83. The switch of the second step occupies average position, without carrying out connection. Only by pressing of the second step the switch connects an internal conductor 82 to a conductor 84 and transfers an electric current further.
Thus there is closed a chain from the plug 82 to the plug 83 thanks to internal branch in the switch.

On a following example rules of reading of the electric scheme are shown.

1) the Designation of plugs, here the plug 30.
2) the Shaped line between conclusions 8 and 2 to tip X293 specifies that both conclusions belong to tip H293.
3) the Shaped line from safety lock F1 to a conclusion the positive wire from relay K36 shows 2 tips CH293.
4) safety lock Rated current, here: 30 And.
5) Switches and the relay are shown always in a starting position. The element represented by a continuous line, means that it is represented completely, here К36.
6) an element Designation, here К36.
7) the element Name, here the relay of a cleaner 1.
8) the Shaped line from safety lock F26 to a conclusion the positive wire of management from relay K36 shows 8 tips H293.
9) the Element represented by a shaped line, means that it is represented not completely, here: Base module A1.
10) a conclusion Designation.
11) the Double line from a conclusion to a point of weight Х490 the weight wire to the pump electric motor стеклоомывателя М4 shows 2 tips H107.
12) the Point of weight Х490.
13) Colour of a cable, here: BR/V1 - brown/violet
14) a tip Designation, here: Х295.

Designations of the major elements the following:

A - the holder of a safety lock/device of management/module
B - the temperature gauge
E - lamps
F - a safety lock
H - a sound signal/index of turn/stoplight
K - the relay
M - the electric motor
N - a radio receiver
R - a potentiometer
S - the switch
V - the valve
X - the tip or a weight point
Y - an external mirror
